Content Licensing Rates and Terms

FourPoints segments are available for non-exclusive, limited commercial use. FourPoints requires a Purchase Order or Letter of Intent (or email) to process licensing requests. Included should be the title of the segment requested and a description of the intended use of the segment. Unless other arrangements have been made, work will not begin until FourPoints receives:
a) Signed and dated copy of the Segment Licensing Agreement
b) Purchase Order or Letter of intent
c) Check or credit card number for fees incurred

Segment Preparation: After review of your proposal, FourPoints will determine the extent to which your order can be fulfilled, and how long it will take to prepare the segment for use. At this time a quotation for preparation fees of $75 per hour (two-hour minimum) will be provided to you. You must provide payment of fees in advance before work will be started.

Licensing Fees: The following licensing packages are available. Shipping and physical media charges are extra.
BRONZE: Embed code for web use for a period of 1 year – $1,200
SILVER: Embed code for web use with no time limit – $2,500
GOLD: Embed code for web use with no time limit plus downloadable version – $5,000

Order Fulfillment: Segment will be prepared within 7 days of receipt of fees. There is a $500 flat fee for rush orders, which reduces the preparation time to 24 hours.

Credit: On-screen credit shall be given to: FourPoints Television Productions or The Aviators by way of a watermark and a promotional tag at the end of the segment.

Copyright: All FourPoints segment footage remains the property of the FourPoints Multimedia Corporation. Any recording, still photography, videotaping, filming, transmission, broadcast or other use of the footage for commercial purposes or paid exhibitions without the prior express written consent of FourPoints is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of segment footage will result in the immediate revocation of licensing rights.

Delivery Details: Segments intended for web use will be made available via YouTube-hosted embed code. Downloadable segments shall be made available via Vimeo in various standard definition and high definition formats.

Stock Footage Rates and Terms

FourPoints footage is available for non-exclusive, one-time rights use only. FourPoints requires a Purchase Order or Letter of Intent for all purchases of footage. Included should be a “wish list” of footage you request. Unless other arrangements have been made, work will not begin until FourPoints receives:
a) Signed and dated copy of the Stock Footage Licensing Agreement
b) Purchase Order or Letter of intent
c) Check or credit card number for fees incurred

Footage Selection: After review of your “wish list,” FourPoints will determine the extent to which your order can be fulfilled, and how long it will take to gather specific footage. At this time a search and dump-over fee of $75 per hour (one-hour minimum) will be forwarded to you. You must provide payment of this fee in advance–before work will be started–and are responsible for payment regardless of whether you select footage or not.

Footage Rates: Footage price is $40 per second (billed in 5 second increments) for non-broadcast use, $80 per second (billed in 5 second increments) for broadcast use. If on-screen time exceeds time ordered, client will be billed for additional time. Shipping charges and physical media charges are extra.

Technical Details: Footage will be delivered digitally either via FTP download or on physical data media (DVD-R or hard drive). Clients are highly recommended to verify format and codec compatibility before ordering footage. FourPoints is an Apple facility and all digital files are made using the latest Apple products and may not be compatible with older PC or Avid edit stations. FourPoints does not do HD format conversions. All shots will be left in their native formats (ex: Apple Pro Res, 1080i/59.94 or 1080p/23.98).
